Since the pandemic of 2019-2020, you’ve probably become familiar with the notion of food delivered to your door. What you may not know is this: Food Shuttle drivers in Western New York have been delivering food to the doors of Pantries & Kitchens and other Recipients since 1989.

It’s a simple but vital task. So simple to understand, so easy to execute, so vital to those in need. However you describe it: there are many ways to define what we do:

We deliver food.
We reduce waste.
We exercise compassion.
We give our time, our transport and our car miles.
We bring small rays of hope to those whose lives have got in the way of their plans.

Won’t you consider delivering for Food Shuttle?  As with all volunteer activities, start as often or as seldom as you like. Find a reason to get out of bed in the morning and do something useful. You won’t believe the gratitude of those in need when they enjoy proteins or veggies that they cannot afford. You’ll be surprised, again and again, at how this simple service to your
community makes you feel.
